2 December, 2025 – Med-TechEngineers Academy, the skills development division of Med-TechEngineers, continues to support professional growth in the engineering and technology sectors through its bi-monthly Webinar Series.

Supporting Professional Development Across Africa

Established in 2009, Med-TechEngineers has grown into a trusted EPCM firm. The Academy extends this expertise by offering accessible and practical training. Through these sessions, professionals across Africa gain the knowledge they need to stay current with industry trends and apply new techniques in their work.

Key Topics Covered in the Webinar Series

The Med-TechEngineers Academy Webinar Series focuses on important and emerging themes in engineering and technology. Topics include:

Highlights From the 2025 Sessions

In 2025, the Academy has delivered four successful webinars:

  • May – Cummins: A discussion on generator set ratings, including ISO 8528-1 standards, Data Centre Continuous Ratings, and Uptime Tier compliance.

  • July – Baker Baynes: A session on international BIM standards, digital collaboration, and coordination in project delivery.

  • September – Cummins: A presentation on generator sizing, room design, airflow, cooling, safety standards, and performance considerations.

  • October – Baker Baynes: A detailed session on the structural bridge design workflow, covering analysis, validation, shop drawings, and rebar detailing.

More webinars are planned for the coming months, offering ongoing opportunities for learning and growth.
